SA PUBLIC ENLIGHTENMENT, MEDIA AND COMMUNICATION TO ZAMFARA GOVERNOR, MALAM ZAILANI BAPPA
Special Adviser to Zamfara State Governor on Public Enlightenment Media and Communication Malam Zailani Bappa has declared that contrary to what people have been alleging that, Governor Bello Matawalle has attacked the Emir of Anka during the last security meeting held in Gusau, the Governor only raised his concern over what he read on the pages of newspaper.
He said the Governor was shocked when he read a comment that, the Emir of Zamfaran Anka has alleged that, if government has failed to address the lingering security crises ravaging the people they should be allow to use arm and defend themselves.
Zailani Bappa said during the meeting the Governor raised the issue and asked the Emirs that if they are not interested in the ongoing peace deal let them make a declaration so that the state government can outrighgly suspend it.
He further said even before the comments by the Emirs Sarkin Zamfaran Anka said he was misquoted by the reporter of the “daily post newspaper” hence what he wrote wasn’t the true reflection of what he said during the interview.
He explained that the Emir of Anka was the first to make a declaration in support of the peace deal before other sixteen Emirs made same declaration.
Zailani who offered this declaration when he featured on the Thunder Blowers TV show Da-Wache-Kazo said, the matter was laid to rest after all stakeholders at the meeting agreed to the terms that, peace deal should continue. BAPPA CLARIFIES COMMENTS MADE BY GOVERNOR ON SARKIN ZAMFARAN ANKA
