A renown Islamic scholar from Zamfara state Malam Musa Shekare Gummi has been announced dead.
The Islamic scholar who belongs to Izala sect died at around 3:00am on Saturday at his country home, Gummi one of the local governments in Zamfara state.
His funeral prayer was conducted around 9:30am on Saturday and was attended by hundreds of Muslim faithfuls.
He is one of the founders of Izala movement in Gummi town since during the days of Shiehk Abubakar Mahmud Gummi and contributed greatly to its development within Nigeria.
He left behind wives and many children and great grand children.
