Zamfara state chapter of People’s Democratic Party has constituted a committee to investigate some allegations raised against its suspended state secretary of the party.
In a letter addressed to Mr. Shatiman Rijiya he is to be investigated by the five-man committee headed by the party legal adviser for Gusau local government Mansur Marafa Gusau.
Otter members of the committee include Yusuf Abdullahi Maikwano, Alh Danlami Idris, Alh Muhamamadu Yabani while Hon. Bello Muhammed Gusau is to serve as the Secretary of the committee.
Terms of reference of the committee include among others: conduct thorough investigation on the allegations raised against the suspended party Secretary, invite all relevant persons that can be of help to the investigation of the matter and the committee is to report the findings within two weeks.
In another separate letter issued to Shatiman Rijiya, he was accused of causing disunity and also creating factions within the party.
He was also accused of hiring thugs to cause confusion within the leadership of the party in the state and turning the party into a private entrepreneurship.
