Zamfara police command has announced the rescue of two kidnapped victims abducted from Magami District of Kaura Namoda local government area.
According to the statement by the police Spokesperson SP Shehu Muhammad, the victims were kidnapped on the 16th of October 2021.
Shehu said, the victims were rescued unconditionally during an extensive search and rescue operations conducted by the police operatives at Dumburum and Gidan Jaja forest in Zurmi local government area of the state.
He further said, the victims have undergone medical examination and were later debriefed by the Police.
According Shehu while commiserating with the victims over their ordeal, he assured people of Zamfara that the command under his watch would continue to strengthen its machinery to ensure that, peace has been restored in the state.
