ANOTHER POLITICAL AID OF GOV. BELLO MATAWALLE RESIGNS.

A chieftain of All Progressive Grand Alliance Aliyu Jibril Gura Guri who was appointed as Senior Special Adviser to Governor Matawalle has resigned his appointment.

In a letter of resignation tendered to the executive Governor of Zamfara through the office of the SSG and dated 4th of November 2021 a copy obtained by this medium quoted the politician saying he has resigned his appointment as Senior Special Assistant to Governor Bello Matawalle to enable him concentrate on the new development work he has entered with an international development partners.

“I write to inform you that I have concluded negotiation with a development corporation to lead a team that will implement development project in some selected states of Nigeria and FCT which required my time and attention. Consequently, based on this development I have to resign my appointment as your Senior Special Assistant”.

“I am taking this moment to on behalf of myself, my family and our teeming supporters from Shinkafi, Zurmi and entire state to express our profound appreciation for the wonderful opportunity given to is to serve under your administration”.

“I wish his excellency and his entire cabinet a successful tenure as you continue to steer the affairs of our dear state”.
the letter reads.

Until this moment, Guraguri has been one of the active political associates of the former gubernatorial candidate of All Progressive Grand Alliance APGA in Zamfara Sani Abdullahi Shinkafi and had contested for the post of member of house of representative for Shinkafi and Zurmi in 2019.

SEN. YARI DONATES (13) TRUCKS OF MAIZE TO PEOPLE OF TALATAR MAFARA

Former Governor of Zamfara state and Senator representing Zamfara West, Hon. Dr. Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar (Shattiman Zamfara) has secured (13) trucks of Maize containing (3900) bags for distribution to his immediate community of Talatar Mafara.

The distribution is to be handled by the (11) man committee headed by Malam Hamza Abubakar.

A total of 68 communities consisting of 21,075 households will benefit with a total of 3900 bags of Maize.

According the chairman, the beneficiaries cut across religious devices as instructed by the donor Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar.

According to the committee Chairman, former Governor Yari has considered the social condition of the people emanating from the removal of fuel subsidy by the current administration.

He assured that, the committee will be just and fair in the discharge of their duties.

He called on people to give them maximum support and cooperation in the discharged of their duty in order to achieve the desire success.

(31) PEOPLE DIES, (274) SUSTAIN INJURIES IN ADAMAWA ROAD CRASHES.

The Federal Road Safety Corp Adamawa state command has revealed that a total of (31) people died as a result of various road crashes within the state.

The statistics also showed that, a total of (274) people also sustained various degree of injuries as a result of the road crashes.

The Adamawa sector command also recorded (126) various road crashes involving (548) passengers within the period under review.

The statistics covered a period of January to July 2023.

The sector commandant of the state, Mr. Yelwa Dio when he interacted with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

He attributed the road crashes to over-loading, over speeding and making telephone calls while driving.
