The Zamfara State Commissioner for Works Eng. Ibrahim Isah Mayana in company of his Management team had inspected some ongoing state government projects within Gusau, and it’s environs.
Critical amongst the projects inspected by the Commissioner included Unguwar Yarima township road, ongoing construction of access roads for Gusau central market, Fira da Kwaddi township road, Hayin Malam Sani-Nasarawa road, Tashar Magami township road as well as CIS College of Health Science link road.
The Commissioner also visited the ongoing construction of Covid-19 isolation center in Damba, and reconstruction and upgrading of JB Yakubu Secretariat Gusau.
The Commissioner who expressed reservation with the way some projects are poorly executed urged the contractors to respect the terms and conditions of the contractual agreement entered in to with the state government.
Some of the contractors who received the Commissioner and his entourage promised to execute their contracts according to specification and also within the time frame agreed.
