A head of full resumption of all primary and junior secondary schools, Zamfara State Universal Basic Education has embarked on state wide disinfection of all the public primary and junior secondary schools in the state.
The Executive Chairman of the Board Aliyu Abubakar Maradun who declared this weekend said the measures is part of Governor matawalle’s resolve to ensuring the safety of Zamfara pupils as they resume for full pledge academic activities on Monday.
In a statement by the Public Relations Officer (11) to the board Ibrahim Musa Maizare said, the management of the board has constituted a committee that is saddled with the responsibility of making sure that all schools under the board have ensure compliance with covid 19 protocols as provided for by the Federal Government.
In a remark during the launching of the fumigation exercise, the Director Primary Education Alh Garba Abdullahi said the decision to embark on the fumigation exercise becomes imperative as a way of providing not only secured but codlnducive teaching and learning environment for both the teachers and pupils.
The statewide launching of the fumigation exercise was conducted at Dade Model Primary School in Maru and was chaired by the Chairman House Committee in Education Yslusuf Alhassan Kanoma
