The Sokoto State Commissioner for Security Col. Garba Moyi (rtd) has announced his formal defection to the opposition All Progressive Congress (APC).
Moyi who announced this on Monday said, his decision to move out of the PDP is because the party has demonstrated its high regard for injustice and deceitfulness.
He also announced that he has stepped down from his position of Commissioner and member of the state executive council and urged that the position be given to someone else.
He re-affirmed his support and political loyalty to the former Governor of Sokoto state Aliyu Magatakarda Wamako and APC and also promised to work harder in ensuring that APC has delivered Sokoto East Senatorial District the zone he belongs to.
