Some suspected armed bandits carryung deadly weapons had invaded Yankaba community in Kaura Namoda local government area of Zamfara state and killed three persons.
The attackers according to sources arrived at the Yankaba community around 2:00am on Monday the 31st of October 2022.
Among those killed was the community Imam Liman Shehu Sha’aban and two others including Yusuf Mai Nama and Abubakar Adamu.
The source said, after killing the victims they embarked on house to house search for valuable items including food stuffs, Telephone and other goods.
Scores of people were reported to have been injured during the attack and they are now receiving treatment at a health facility in Kaura Namoda
Zamfara Police Spokesperson SP Shehu Muhammad could not be reached for comment as at the time of filing this report.
