Governor Bello Matawalle has announced that his administration has offered permanent and pensionable appointments to a total of 5,950 citizens of Zamfara State.
The Governor who stated this during the presentation of 2023 appropriation estimates on the floor of the state House of Assembly Gusau on Thursday.
He said the beneficiaries were drawn from across the fourteen local government areas of the state
He said the development has jerked up the State’s monthly salary figure for civil servants by N167,333,440.15.
“Similarly, we have implemented outstanding promotions of the State Civil Servants, which have not been implemented for the past seven years”.
“We are also committed to implementing the national minimum wage of N30,000 this November”.
