Twenty-seven out of over 263 people abducted at Randa village in Dansadau Emirate Council in Zamfara state have been killed by the bandits while in captivity.
One of the abductees who spoke to journalists explained that, they have spent complete twenty days in the hand of their captors before they were released on Saturday.
He said those killed were identified by the bandits; hence they tagged them as members of the vigilante who have become a stumbling block to their operations.
He explained that, though their released conditional some of released abductees have decided to move out of their base since the bandits threatened to come back again if the conditions set out are not met.
Police could not be reached for comment as at the time of filing this report.
