Some suspected group of bandits armed with deadly weapons had invaded Bukkuyum town in Zamfara state at the early hours of Thursday.
The armed bandits whose mission was purely to rustle cattle along their operations killed one young boy who attempted to escape when he heard the sound of gunshots ringing in the air.
A confidential source informed this medium that the bandits rustle unaccountable number of livestock, including rams, cows and rest of other animals.
Normalcy has already been restored, though people of the area have developed the fear that the bandits may strike at their community any moment.
Police spokesperson ASP Yazid Muhammad promised to respond to our inquiries in the shortest time
