The Zamfara State Director General Directorate of Public Enlightenment Media and Communication Malam Yusuf Idris has scored his principal officer Governor Bello Matawalle 90/100 in the area of security management of the state.
Malam Yusuf Idris who declared this during a TV show programme of Thunder Blowers said Governor Matawalle has been able to restore the confidence of the people by securing Zamfara territory and create an atmosphere where people can move freely and conduct their business activities.
He noted that, before the coming of the present administration, some major highways in Zamfara were not motorable since bandits have taken over the roads and have been killing people mercilessly.
He also explained that all the major weekly markets that are popular in Zamfara were closed by the former government due to the constant harassment of the innocent business people by the bandits.
While giving credit to his government, Yusuf Idris said, as at now all the weekly markets in Zamfara have been reopened and all the major roads that were initially taken over by the bandits have been reclaimed and secured.
He burst that, citizen of Zamfara can now move freely in every part of Zamfara without fear of attacks or intimidation by the bandits.
