Police in Katsina has awarded the sum of N50M naira to anyone that produces the whereabouts of two suspected bandit leaders that have been terrorizing the people of the state.
According to the statement by the police spokesperson ASP Abubakar Sadiq stated that, anyone who helps the police to provide information about the whereabouts of the two bandit leaders named Modi-Modi and Jan Kare would be paid the sum of N50M.
He stated further that, they have decided to pay money as a way of making sure that justice is done to the people of Katsina State.
He said the step taken will assist in bringing an end to the lingering security problem confronting the state.
The statement added that the two identified bandit leaders have been causing serious harm to the innocent people of Katsina especially those residing around Kankara and Safana local government areas of the state.
The statement added that considering the significance of security Katsina State government in collaboration with the state police command are working hand in hand to fight bandit criminals that have been terrorising the people of the state.
