The Publicity Secretary of the All Progressive Congress in Zamfara Mal. Yusuf Idris has stated that some unpatriotic members of the APC in the state are working toward destroying the party on the basis of their grand plan to bring a new political party in the 2027 general election.
Mr. Yusuf Idris who stated this In a statement as part of the formal reaction to the suspension of the Zamfara APC State Chairman Mr. Tukur Danfulani insisted that people of Zamfara should disregard such move because it was not true.
He noted further that these class of politicians are celebrating crises within Zamfara APC just as the case may be in Kano and other parts of the states in Nigeria.
But he insisted that their evil plans will surely failed; hence they do not exhausted the option of addressing their grudge against the state party in a more decent and constitutional channels.
He said those parading themselves as ward executives of Galadima ward are not known to the state executives committee, urging the public to disregard their move describing it as “failed on arrival”.
He further argued that all the claims brought by the aggrieved members who claimed to have perfected the suspension are baseless and lacks merit.
We also wish to draw the attention of newsmen and media organizations against rushing to the press without verifying issues of this magnitude with the party headquarters in the state, especially when we have cordial working relationship developed through our open door policy” Idris emphasized.
He said a corporate move for suspension of the state Chairman needs to be authored on the letter headed paper of the party or at least on the letter headed paper of the APC Galadima ward.
Meanwhile, machinery has been set in motion to investigate those behind the purported suspension to maintain peace, law, and order in the party” Idris added.
