Zamfara State government has stated that it is working in collaboration with relevant stakeholders to identify and cure the unknown disease that resulted to killing of some children in the state.
The Spokesperson of the Governor Sulaiman Bala Idris was quoted by BBC Hausa service to have stated that the government is working toward ascertaining the identity and cure of the unknown disease
He further advised the citizens to always go to the hospital and conduct sample examination when they noticed some signs to ascertain the nature of the disease suspected to have come into contact with.
On the number of people killed by this new disease, Mr. Sulaiman challenged the figure noting that when compilation of the figures is done government will release official figures.
He explained further that effort is being put in place to ensure that those infected by the disease are isolated.
