The Senator Representing Zamfara West, Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar has ordered for the distribution of (28) trucks of rice to the needy and lessprivilege people across the fourteen local government areas of Zamfara State.
Chairman of the Publicity Committee of the Yari Political group, Ibrahim Muhammad Birnin Magaji gave the hint in a statement issued to journalists in Gusau on Tuesday.
He stated that the Chairman of the group, Lawal M. Liman offered more clarification on the pattern of the distribution during a meeting with the distribution committee and other stakeholders in Gusau.
He stated that the gesture will strictly target the needy and less privilege people as part of supporting them to observe their Id-El Kabir with relative ease.
According to the arrangement, each of the (6) beneficiaries selected would be issued (50kg) a bag of rice to be shared.
He stated that the gesture is provided as part of his passion for supporting humanity at all time.
As usual, the committee that conducted the Ramadan program are delegated to conduct the exercise.
