Zamfara Circle Congratulates Dr. Maryam Ismail Keshinro (nee Ibrahim Aliyu) on her appointment as the Permanent Secretary in the federal service
The circle in a statement by its Chairman Dr. Aminu Lawal Tsafe, the group said her appointment is a testament to the President’s resolve to enthrone justice, fairness, and promote merit in his efforts to reposition the Federal Civil Service for greater service delivery.
The statement captured that, Dr. Maryam Keshinro, a Consultant Pediatrician, who was born in Gummi and raised in Tsafe Local Governments in Zamfara in 1969.
She attended Model (now Yakubu Muazu) Primary School, Birnin Kebbi Road in Sokoto (1981), Federal Government College Kaduna (1986), and University of Maiduguri (1995) for her primary, secondary, and tertiary education.
The statement added that, “she is a Fellow of the West African College of Physicians (Pediatrics, 2007) and holds an MSc in Public Health (Health Systems Planning and Management) from KIT Royal Tropical Institute, Amsterdam (2022). She rose through the Public Service to the position of Director/Consultant Special Grade I (Pediatrics) in 2019.
