The new leadership of the APC faction led by Aminu Sani Jaji the member representing Kaura Namoda Birnin Magaji Federal constituency of Zamfara state has emerged.
The re-emergence of the new factional leadership followed the isolation of the Jajiya political supporters from the reinvented monthly stakeholders meeting of the Zamfara APC led by a group loyal to Sen. Abdulaziz Yari and former Governor Bello Matawalle now Minister of State Defense.
It could be recalled that after the last two weeks meeting, Sen. Kabiru Marafa group held a parallel meeting of their supporters in Kaduna where they set up their leadership under Alh Surajo Maikatako.
Jaji on the other hand called the meeting of his supporters in Gusau on Wednesday where issue affecting the party APC were thoroughly discussed, and a resolution was reached that, another parallel leadership be constituted on behalf of the Jaji political group.
The new Chairman of the party elected was Alh Isiyaka Ajiya Anka. His nomination was unanimously adopted by all the stakeholders during the session being him the Deputy State Chairman in charge of the Zamfara West Senatorial District.
Aminu Jaji who is the overall leader of the movement, was represented by the Chairman of the Jajiya political movement and former Commissioner for Health in the immediate past administration of Bello Matawalle Aliyu Abubakar Tsafe.
Tsafe insisted that the rationale behind the appointment of the new leadership of the APC in Zamfara was as a result of the affirmation of the suspension of the APC Chairman Tukur Umar Danfulani and his Secretary Ibrahim Umar Dangaladima.
He insisted that the party cannot be allowed with a wider leadership vacuum and that those deputizing the two principal officers suspended must be allowed to take over pending when the party conducted a new congress.
Aliyu Tsafe further states that, the gathering of Jajiya supporters in Gusau was to collectively work in rescuing the party from the possible collapse.
Two former Commissioners under the immediate past administration of Bello Matawalle Nasiru Zarumi Nasaka and Ahmad Sharu Anka all applauded the Jajiya supporters for their resilience and commitment to the Jaji project, noting that their effort will never go in vain.
