The serving Chairman of Zamfara State Independent Electoral Commission ZASIEC Alh Sani Ibrahim Ruwan Dorawa passes away.
One of the Permanent Commissioners in the Commission, Aminu Muhammad Dan Anka issued the statement about the death of the state Chairman in his verified facebook page.
Danmajen Maru as he is popularly called was a former federal lawmaker who represented Maru/Bungudu in the Federal House of Representatives between 2011 and 2015 under the platform of ANPP.
He was appointed Chairman of ZASIEC by the current administration of Dauda Lawal of Zamfara state.
His funeral arrangements would be announced by the family soonest.
