The immediate past Special Adviser to Zamfara state Governor on Political Matters Yahaya Abubakar Yari has been picked as PDP consensus candidate for the post of Council Chairman in the forthcoming local government council polls scheduled for November 16th in Zamfara state.
Mannir Mu’azu Haidara the immediate past Commissioner for Information was also picked as consensus candidate for Kaura Namoda while Umar Faru Uma was picked as consensus candidate for Bukkuyum local government council.
Others include, Bashar Musa Anka, Sanusi A. Dosara, Nura Umar NU and Samaila Kwangwami who were picked as consensus candidates for Anka, Maradun, Bungudu and Zurmi local government respectively.
Furthermore, those in the list of the PDP consensus candidates include, Garba Fanchers for Tsafe, Saidu Dan Bala for Bakura, Aminu Nuhu for Gummi, as well as Bello Jabaka representing Maru local government council.
Others include, Abubakar Imam for Gusau and Engr Abdulhadi – Birnin Magaji for Birnin Magaji local government respectively.
The consensus candidates were since issued with their certificates of return from their party by its Chairman Dr. Jamil Jibo Magayaki
