Governor Dauda Lawal has approved the appointment of Mal. Yakubu Sani Haidara as the new Head of Civil Service of Zamfara state.
He succeeded his immediate predecessor Ahmad Liman who retired from the service on Tuesday.
According to the statement from the office of the Secretary to the State Government Mal. Abubakar Nakwada the appointment takes immediate effects.
Until his appointment Yakubu is the Permanent Secretary Establishment and also served as Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Commerce, Transport and office of the Secretary to the State Government of Zamfara state.
He was appointed Permanent Secretary in 2012 and since then, he has been in the active service of Zamfara state in the same status.
Haidara is a graduate of political science from Usman Danfodio University Sokoto (1989) and also a graduate of National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) Kuru Jos.
