One of the PDP Chieftains in Zamfara who doubles as Special Adviser to Governor Dauda Lawal on Public Enlightenment, Faruk Ahmad Shatiman Rijiya has raised alarm that the government of PDP in Zamfara has abandoned those that worked in ensuring its victory in 2023.

Shatiman Rijiya who spoke in a viral video on Friday, insisted that it is very unfair that politics now a day’s tends to favor incompetent personalities that do not know how the party worked in securing victory.

He said if the real politicians were allowed with responsibility of managing the party affairs, in Zamfara certain crises of confidence wouldn’t have occurred nothing that the terrain is not restricted to PDP alone but all political parties in Nigeria.

Rijiya who recalls how these types of development causes crises of confidence among party supporters said, ordinarily issue of politics should be allowed for the politicians to handle while the Governor can bring in anyone feels to occupy whatever position he decided to award him in government.

He described as a dangerous precedence politically for a government to abandon Politicians that work for its success and continue to bring in people who have no knowledge of how the government come on board to manage its critical decisions.

He stated further that this development is not restricted to the PDP alone, as the same challenges cause similar problems for the Matawalle’s APC government in 2023.

On the crises between the government of Zamfara and suspended state lawmakers, Rijiya insisted that if the Governor had allowed real politicians to intervene and talk to these aggrieved lawmakers, the matter would have been resolved amicably.

He noted that people like him from inception were part of those that struggle to secure the nomination forms of these lawmakers and therefore maintained some certain level of control over them but noted that since government did not see wisdom in allowing people like him to intervene in the crises they opted to keep mute and continue to watch things as they unfold.

When asked if these perspectives he has raised publicly were raised to the government in confidence, he said when such types of opportunities are denied, the only option for people like him is to come to the media and say them out so that those that are supposed to hear can hear him loud and clear.
