Presidency has denied having hands in the spread of Presidential Bill-boards sighted across many cities in Nigeria.
According to a statement by Mr Bayo Onanuga the Presidential Spokesman said the Presidency has no hands in it because it is not yet time.
The Presidency expressed sadness with the manner the Presidential campaign billboards of Tinubu and Shatima we’re erected across cities of Abuja and Kano.
The statement said even though Tinubu Tinubu and Shatima are grateful for the love shown to them but they distances themselves from any campaign which is against the law
The statement added further that, because Tinubu and Shatima are law abiding citizens of Nigeria they would not support any step that would ridicule the reputation of government organizations.
The Presidency called on those erecting the bill boards and those sponsoring then to desist until when INEC lifted the ban for political campaigns.
The statement added that the President is more concern about delivering to the campaign promises they took which they said positive results are already manifesting.
