The former Talata Mafara local government Sole Administrator Alh Saminu Sulaiman Morai has been reported killed by some suspected armed bandits.
According to reports from his local community, he was killed during an attack launched by some heavily armed bandits who invaded the community on Monday night.
He was killed, while his wife and some unspecified number of children were equally abducted and taken to an unknown bandit camp.
Saminu Morai was a retired Permanent Secretary, after which he served as Talatar Mafara council sole administrator.
He worked for a number of years at Zamfara State College of Arts and Science (ZACAS) Gusau before his elevation to the rank of the Permanent Secretary by the administration of former Zamfara Governor Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar.
His funeral will be conducted today, Tuesday the 15th day of April 2025.
