Emir of Anka Alh Attahiru Muhammad Ahmad has conveyed a meeting of stakeholders in his emirate with the aim of chatting the way forward.
The Emir who addressed stakeholders at the meeting the Emir said, the stakeholders meeting was summoned considering the emergence of some pockets of security challenges that are arising in the emirate.
Representatives of the Fulani communities, the peace accord committee led by Zamfara Commissioner of Police, leadership of the organized vigilante all made remarks at the meeting where consensus was reached.
In a remark, the Sole Administrator for Anka local government Hon. Ahmad Balarabe called on Hausa and Fulani to reunite and continue to work together for the progress of the state considering the fact that they were one entity long before now.
Zamfara State Commissioner for Security and Home Affairs Abubakar Dauran said the present administration of Bello Matawalle has been actively developing strategies aimed at securing lives and properties.
He called on the stakeholders to make use of the issues discussed in supporting the effort of the government for sustainable peace and progress.
Dauran emphasized the stand of the Matawalle government of continuing with the peace deal and assured that those who refused to accept peace shall be dealt with decisively.
The stakeholders meeting was attended by the Chairman of the House Committee on Security and Home Affairs Zaharadeen Sada, security chiefs in the state and other Stakeholder.
