A chieftain of All Progressive Congress in Zamfara State Alh Sani Gwamna Mayanchi has declared that he is ready to appear before the Judicial Commission of Inquiry and give account of allegations raised against him by the Ahmad Zabarma led State Government Project Verification Committee.
Sani Gwamna who spoke exclusively to Thunder Blowers Online News Medium via telephone on Monday said, it is unfortunate that the government has resorted to subjecting issues of governance to media trial noting that, he and other members of the APC are not afraid of appearing before the judicial commission of inquiry once its proceedings can be broadcasted live.
“Once we are invited by the commission we will make our position known and the position is we can only appear if the proceedings of the commission can be broadcasted live for the people of Zamfara to know who is deceiving who between us and PDP government in the state” Gwamna added.
“It surprises me when I saw Ahmad Zabarma making comments that I was paid money for projects I have not executed. As an elderly person I think it is rather ridiculing for him to be making baseless allegations against my personality but when we met at the Commission Zamfara people will know clearly who is a liar” Gwamna affirmed.
Gwamna added further “He Ahmad Zabarma should know that while he was the Chairman of the State Civil Service Commission same Yari he is accusing of mismanaging state resources has awarded him a contract on direct labour for construction of new State Civil Service Secretariat in Gusau and we know what transpired at the end of the whole process. When it is time for us to react we will tell the whole world what actually happened”.
