His Excellency Governor Bello Matawalle presented letter of appointment to the newly appointed Emir of Kaura-Namoda HRH Muh’d Sanusi Muh’d Ahmad Asha.
In a statement by Governor Senior Special Assistant in new Media Mr. Abdulwali Anwar Tahir reads “In accordance with the Section 17 of Zamfara State Emirate Council established 2000, Law No.15, Section 1-3 & Section 3 of Chiefs Appointments law 1997. I, Hon. Dr. BelloMatawalle (MON) today, I approved your appointment as the newly Emir of Kaura-Namoda. The Governor Said.
The appointment is based on the recommendation of the kingmakers of Kaura-Namoda Emirate Council. The appointment takes effect from 6th May, 2020.
He said the Governor wish the new emir successful tenure in office.
