Zamfara State Deputy Governor Mahadi Aliyu Gusau has called on politicians and political office holders to make use of their best opportunities and assist the poor and less privilege persons.
He made the call while at the formal distribution of facilities for the people of Bungudu East State Assembly constituency.
Mahadi Aliyu said, the gesture offered to the people of Bungudu East constituency will for sure torch the lives of many households and empower them to become economically self-reliant.
He congratulated the lawmaker for his effort aimed at empowering his people and urged him to redouble his commitment to that effect.
Properties distributed by the lawmaker included, two vehicles, fourteen motorcycles, grinding machines, and electric power generating plants.
The lawmaker also distributed cash grants to some categories of people ranging from ten to twenty thousand naira.
Speaking earlier at the occasion, the lawmaker Kabiru Magaji Kwatarkwashi thanked the Deputy Governor for personally attending the event and reaffirmed his commitment to doing more for the overall development of his people.
