GOVERNOR MATAWALLE INSPECT ONGOING CAPITAL PROJECTS.

Governor Bello Matawalle had conducted an inspection of six different projects currently being executed by his administration.

They included international cargo airport, JB Yakubu Secretariat new modern conference hall, state ulama consultative council secretariat and new government house clinic.

He also inspected the ongoing construction of council of chiefs lodge and government filling station all in Gusau the state capital.

The governor expressed satisfaction with the quality and level of work in all the projects inspected.

He said, he decided to pay unscheduled visits to some ongoing projects initiated by his administration in order to ascertain the quality and level of work done.

Matawalle added that all the projects have reached advanced stage of completion which are going to be put to use soonest.

He assured of his government’s determination to provide all the basic infrastructure for the benefit of the state’s citizens and the upcoming generations by extension.

The governor noted that construction of basic infrastructures in the state will create job opportunities and raise the revenue profile of the state.

Matawalle further pointed out that the Construction of Permanent office accommodation will reduce the cost of Governance as all government agencies will operate in government buildings and not in rented properties which was the practice he inherited.

The governor also assured of doing more in that direction and called for continued support and prayers from the people of the state.

In the same development the governor visited the newly commissioned Command Guest Hotel, Gusau which was billed to be commissioned by himself, but he was conducted by his former Commissioner for Security and Home Affairs, Hon Abubakar Mohammed Dauran.

The Governor was conducted round the new facility by the Hotel Front Office Manager, Bilyaminu Hassan.

He commended the Army for constructing such befitting edifice in the state and assured them of the state government patronage.
