Zamfara State Governor Bello Muhammad Matawalle has ordered for the dissolution of the 14 local government sole administrators.
This is contained in a statement issued to journalists by the Permanent secretary of Ministry for local government and rural development Abubakar Jafar Maradun.
Jafar said, the decision to dissolve the sole administrators followed the expiration of their elongated six months tenure as approved by the members of the state house of assembly.
The permanent secretary further said, all the outgoing sole administrators are directed to hand over the affairs of their respective councils to Directors of administration and general services.
He said Governor thanked them for their contributions to the development of the state.
In a related development, the Governor has approved the Redeployment of the 14 Local Government Councils Secretaries back to their respective local government areas of origin with immediate effect.
Jafar said, all handing over notes should be transmitted to the Ministry for local government and community development with immediate effect.
