Nigerian Medical Association Zamfara State Branch has summoned an emergency meeting to review the circumstances behind the armed bandits attack on General Hospital Dansadau in Zamfara State on Friday.
According to the statement signed by the branch chairman Dr. Mannir Bature Chafe said the bandits invaded the General Hospital looking for medical doctors and nurses but eventually succeeded in abducting a ward attendant and relation of a patient.
Chafe also said two other female staff of the hospital were wounded during the attack.
Dr. Bature said the emergency meeting scheduled for Saturday is going to allow room for deliberation on the way out of the crises.
