Like minds of Governor Bello Matawalle led by Alh Shehu J Muhammad and Barr. Surajo Haske led hundreds of other well-wishers in conducting a special prayer session for the return of sustainable peace in Zamfara State.
Sarkin Katsinan Gusau Alh Ibrahim Bello Gusau chaired the prayer session in company of all his District Heads and other traditional titleholders in the emirate.
Each person was given a (Hizf) of the holy Quran during a special recitation session which lasted for almost an hour.
Later on, the Chief Imam of Gusau central mosque Ustaz Dan Alhaji Sambo led nine other Islamic scholars in conducting the prayer session.
Both of them prayed for the return of lasting peace and also God divine intervention in resolving the lingering social conflict that ravaged the state.
Some of the Muslim faithfuls who attended the prayer session commended the organizers for their foresight and concern in aiding the government in its quest to ending the banditry and armed bandits activities.
