The federal high court sitting in Gusau presided over by Justice Aminu Bappa has dismissed the suite filed by the Lawal M. Liman led state caretaker committee over what they termed as their illegal removal by the Mai Mala Buni led interim leadership of the APC.
In a judgement delivered on Friday, the presiding judge said, the matter is purely an intra-party one which is supposed to be resolved within the jurisdiction of the party and affirmed that the court does not have the jurisdiction to entertain the matter.
One of the counsels to the Plaintiffs, Barr. Bello Umar said the judgement is the reasoning of the judge and that as counsels they would receive copy of the judgement and advise their clients appropriately.
Bello Umar further said even the judge confirmed that his court is not the terminal one and therefore soonest they may likely appeal the judgement.
On his own part, Barr. Shamsudeen Muhammad one of the counsels representing the 1st and 2nd defendants said the judgement represent what the court should have done noting that the case filed by the M. Liman led state caretaker committee is purely an intra party one which the court does not have jurisdiction to entertained.
“If there is anything it is within the party that they should go and resolved the issue amicably and what the court has done is what is obtainable anywhere”.
“Even if they appeal the judgement, it would not see the light of the day. The court of Appeal and Supreme Court will affirm this judgement” Shamsudeen stated
