Zamfara pensioners are yet to be paid their pension for the month of November.
According to some pensioners who were interviewed by this medium the situation is becoming alarming hence the majority of them cannot afford to even feed their families.
They lamented that, despite the pledges made by the state government officials including the ministry of finance, their November pension has not been paid.
They lamented that before now, government used to pay them before the mainstream civil servants but noted that, for the past five months the situation has been bad since they are always paid pension when eyebrow is raised.
They called on the labor union, specifically the NLC to come to their aid and make sure that the situation has been reversed in the interest of humanity.
But a source at the ministry of finance in Zamfara told this medium in confidence that, the state run short of funds and that even salary is being paid in trenches.
