Zamfara pensioners are to receive their November Pension on Thursday the 23rd of December 2021.
This is confirmed by a source at the State Ministry of Finance in Gusau who explained to us that the State Commissioner for Finance Sufiyanu Bashir Yuguda is making concerted effort to get the November pension settled.
He said certain challenges influenced the delay in the payment of the pension and that the ministry has been up and doing to get the problem fixed.
He said the entire funds meant for the payment of the November pension would be sent to the account of the State Contributory Pension Commission for onward release to the individual pensioners.
He also informed this medium that the statutory money for the settlement of the backlog of gratuity would also be released to the Commission.
He said the ministry was not happy with the development and promise to take proactive measures of making sure that things are fixed and improve to avert another occurrence of same delay
