Suspected kidnappers abducted the wife and two female children of an academic staff of Federal College of Education Technical Gusau Abdulrazaq Umar Mu’azu on Thursday.
The lecturer, who doubled as the Deputy Director School of undergraduate of the college, was attacked by the suspected kidnappers Thursday night at his resident located at Mareri area an outskirt of the college Quarters in Gusau.
A confided source said when they came into the premises of his house, the lecturer climbed into the ceiling roof to escape abduction, but they eventually succeeded in kidnapping his wife and his two female children.
As at the time of filing this report, the kidnappers are yet to call for ransom even as the Chief Imam of Damba Jumu’at prayer mosque had asked the public to pray for the safe return of the abductees during his post Friday sermon.
