The operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps Zamfara State Command have arrested three suspected vandals of armored cables worth Two Hundred and Five Thousand Naira Only (#205,000.00) from Maru local Government Area of Zamfara State.
Parading the suspects before press men at the State Command Headquarters Gusau, the state Commandant of the Corps, Commandant A A Sparks who spoke through the Command CDPRO Ikor Oche DSC said, the criminals have severally tampered with installations belonging to Kaduna Electricity Company thereby depriving the public the services of electricity in Maru Local Government Area of the state.
He said, the Corps will not relent to hunt down these kinds of criminals who are hell-bent on truncating and sabotaging the candid efforts of the Government.
The suspects include ;Jamilu Mohd aged (18), Shehu Bashar (18) and Bashir Samaila who is aged 22, and they have all confessed to the crime.
