Zamfara police command has announced that, troops from sector (1) of Operations Hadarin Daji operating along Dogon Kade axis have handed over (4) four suspects allegedly connected to illegal invasion of Dogon Kade market.
The suspects whose names were given as Bilyaminu Musa, Sufiyanu Ibrahim, Zayyanu Abdullahi and Sharif Abubakar were accused of intimidating innocent people in the market including members of the Fulani group.
They are allegedly members of the outlawed Yansakai whose activities were stopped by the government of Zamfara state.
CP Elkana who announced this during a Press briefing in Gusau on Monday said, Zamfara State government has already outlawed the activities of Yansakai in all part of Zamfara state.
According to CP Ayuba Elkana, five locally fabricated guns, three operational motorcycles, three numbers of cutlasses, one axe and one cutlass were recovered from the suspects .
He added that, investigation is ongoing with a view to arraigning the suspects before a competent court of law.
