Armed bandits stopped a car conveying a referral patient from Magami to Gusau abducted the passengers and abandoned the patient to his destiny.
As source who confided on this medium said, the patient who was on referral to Yariman Bakura Specialist Hospital, Gusau was on transit along with his relations when bandits stopped their vehicle along Magami-Dansadau road.
The source who confirmed that, the incident happened around 8:00am on Saturday said the relations and other passengers on board the vehicle were all abducted.
He said the patient who was abandoned helplessly later died inside the car.
He added that, even last week bandits blocked the same Magami-Dansadau road killed two persons on the spot and abducted all the passengers in the car.
Furthermore, he said he was among the passengers that were stopped and was given dirty slaps before he was freed to move to Magami.
He added that, hardly a day passes without having armed bandits attacking Gusau-Magami-Dansadau road.
It could be recalled that, few months back some residents along the road including vehicle drivers, had to stage a protest demanding for the government to provide adequate security to commuters plying the road.
