An APC Chieftain in Zamfara Bello Bakyasuwa has raised doubt that the Senator representing Zamfara West Lawal Hassan Anka has distributed over 12,000 bags of assorted food items to the people of his constituency as Ramadan welfare package.
Bakyasuwa who spoke exclusively to this medium said, knowing the political antecedent of the Sen. Any reasonable citizen of Zamfara West Senatorial constituency must cast doubt to the sincerity of the figure of the food items mentioned by Senator Lawal Dan-Iya.
“We have not visibly seen the food items assembled, and I believe the Senator does not have the courage to distribute food items worth (N200M) to the people. We knew him and we knew his political antecedent”.
“I am from Maradun one of the local governments under his constituency and I have consulted widely to ascertain if the food items are distributed and believe me in Maradun you cannot find a common member of the APC who has benefited from a single measure distributed by Sen. Lawal Dan-Iya”.
He cautioned the Senator to desist from playing politics of deceit and be honest to the electorates, adding that it resulted to mischief for a politician who has raised to the status of Senator to come in the public and lies over what he knew he has not provided to his citizens.
He challenged the Senator or any of his aides to invite the journalists and demonstrated the stock of the food item or the ongoing locational distribution of the food items in any of the local governments under his constituency.
