Zamfara state Deputy Governor Sen. Hassan Muhammad Nasiha has announced the immediate relocation of NYSC orientation camp on temporary basis to Gusau the capital city of Zamfara state.
The Deputy Governor who stated this when he granted audience to the Director General of NYSC Brigadier General M K Fadah in Gusau.
Senator Nasiha who described the recent security challenges faced by Tsafe and some part of the state as a great set back noted that, their administration has taken the most appropriate steps of relocating the Tsafe NYSC camp to Gusau where there is relative peace.
The Deputy Governor said the decision by the NYSC management to shut down the Tsafe NYSC orientation camp temporarily as the best option to ensure the safety of the corp members.
While congratulating the new DG NYSC for his recent appointment assured him of the state government’s readiness to do all that are needed to ensure the speedy take-off of the temporary camp
In a remark, the NYSC Director-General Brigadier General M K Fadah said they were in the State to inspect the proposed temporary site and select the best location as approved by Zamfara State Government.
He noted that with the commitment by the state government, normal activities at the temporary camp will soon resume.
He lauded the effort of the state government led by Bello Matawalle for taking the most appropriate steps to ensure that relative peace is restored. In Zamfara State
