A WEEK WITHOUT SARKIN FULANIN BUNGUDU, ZMSG IS STILL SILENT ON HIS PLAN RELEASE FROM ABDUCTORS

It is precisely a week since the Emir of Bungudu Sarkin Fulani Alh Hassan Attahiru was abducted by some gang of kidnappers along Kaduna-Abuja express road.
Up to now, not a single pronouncement from Zamfara state government on the level of negotiation regarding his release while his family friends and well-wishers dies in grief, anger, and fear about his living status in the hand of the abductors.
To make the matter worst, the Governor has left the country without telling anybody what measures the state government is taking to get the monarch released, even if it means paying ransom to save his life.
It is not wrong to say nobody cares in Zamfara state except the common-man who knows the value of traditional royal fathers and if you call the attention of the government on the right thing to do regarding sensitive issues like, wailers would go after you calling you names and tried to black paint you as “opponent of the government”.
The Acting Governor who doubled as the Speaker I am sure, is helpless and cannot do anything because we knew very well that he is only the acting governor but does not have the full executive power to take inward decision like the Governor would do.
We urged the families and immediate relations of the Emir to take the bold step of negotiating the release of the Emir without necessarily waiting for the government.
Our reason is, the attitudes of the government actors toward the release of the Emir are unsatisfactory.
In Zamfara we have people abducted in their hundreds for months without any tangible step to getting them released by the abductors.
We pray for God almighty to secure the monarch, strengthen his mind and be with him throughout the trying period.
May God almighty get him released in time and re-unite him with his family.
