Leadership of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Zamfara state branch has reached out to hundreds of internally displaced persons at Saminaka and donated food items to them as part of their commitment to ensuring that they were carried along in the sallah celebration.
The Chairman of the party in the state Kabiru Garba led the delegation alongside its gubernatorial candidate Ahmad Hashim Tsanu and lots of other party officials.
Apart from food stuffs, the party also donated detergents of various categories as well as cash to the selected beneficiaries.
The party chairman said, they are not only concern about securing the votes of Zamfara people but rather they have strong concern on the need to ensure that all those displaced by the current wave of armed banditry have been carried along for them to have a clear sense of belonging.
He assured that the party will continue to sustain its humanitarian gesture for the lesspriviledged persons in the state.
