Some abductors of the Jangebe School girls had exchanged telephone numbers with the abductees hours before freeing them and requested for their hands in marriage.
One of the freed abductees that speaks with journalists at the state government house said, some of them identified many of them and sought for their hands in marriage even as they asked them to call back after agreeing to the offer.
She said they have also advised them to do away with their formal education and engage in marriage as the better option.
She also told journalists that one of the thing they observed about the bandits is that they are scared of helicopters and fighter jets noting that they normally run away whenever they noticed the arrival of a fighter jet.
