A clerk to the National Assembly on procurement who hails from Zamfara state, Lawal Barau Bungudu has picked a PDP nomination form to contest for the post of Senator Zamfara Central.
One of the closet associates of the nominee said their decision to pick the nomination form for the aspirant is borne out of the desire to bring the much anticipated change in terms creating federal opportunities for the people of Zamfara Central constituency.
He said the candidate has the potentials of not only representing the people of Zamfara Central but has the requisite experiences to initiate reforms that are geared toward bringing lasting opportunities among the people of the constituency,, especially the teeming unemployed youths.
On the chances of the party he joined (PDP), the political associate to the aspirant said, considering the level of socio-economic crises that trailed the state, citizens of Zamfara Central are decisive enough to vote the candidate of their conscience whom they believe has the capacity to effect the desired changes.
He further said, consultation has started with all those that matters in the senatorial zone, noting that the struggle to revive Zamfara Central has just begun.
He has since filled and returned his nomination form at the PDP National Secretariat in Abuja.
