The body of the dethroned Emir of Zurmi Abubakar Atiku had been laid to rest at his country home, Zurmi in Zamfara on Saturday.
The former Emir died at a private hospital in Egypt, and his family announced his exit last week via a statement.
Emir Abubakar Atiku was dethroned by the current administration of Bello Matawalle after he was indicted by an investigative panel on his alleged involvement in armed banditry related matters.
He was detained for close to eight months while the government was conducting an investigation after he was suspended.
He died last week in Egypt, living behind wives, children and grandchildren.
