Zamfara state government has reached an agreement with the organized labour Union in Zamfara state with a pledge to implement the N30,000 minimum wages by November 2022.
The resolution was reached after a joint meeting between the leadership of the labour unions, state government and committee on the new minimum wage Ambassador Bashir Yuguda Gusau.
It could be recalled that the national body of the NLC had sent a letter of threat to Zamfara state government given it an ultimatum of (21) days within which to either implement the new minimum wage or get the state shutdown for an indefinite industrial action.
