All may seem not too well within the Zamfara PDP transition committee as some powerful forces are accused of smuggling other people into the transition committee without the authorization of the Governor elect as well as the Chairman of the main committee.

On the date of the inauguration of the subcommittee there was a serious confusion as some members of the subcommittees raises accusing fingers on the possible intrusion of some new members who are believed not to have connection with the PDP.

In the health committee, for instance, nomination of Comr. Bashir Mafara was challenged by majority of the members of the committee, a circumstance that raises dust as to where his inclusion was authorized.

A source privy to this medium said it took the intervention of the Chairman of the health committee to clarify from the Vice Chairman of the main committee Mujitafa Isah former Head of Service as to where the nomination of the person came from.

It was realized that the nomination was made using pen, and it was allegedly done without the consent of the Chairman of the main committee before members kicked against it.

It was alleged that the appointment of Dr, Yusuf Haske as Secretary of the Health subcommittee was almost substituted by that of Comrade Mafara before members of the subcommittee raised alarm and objected to it.

Thunder Blowers contacted the the Secretary of the Health subcommittee Dr. Yusuf Haske and he confirmed that the news of the  intrusion of Bashir Mafara into the committee is true and that the members of the subcommittee objected to it.

He confirmed that, the Chairman of the subcommittee Dr. Mansur refused to issue Bashir Mafara letter of appointment and also denied the chances of signing the subcommittee attendance.

He said based on the unverified information they received at subcommittee level, Bashir was intruded into the committee true the influence of the Vice Chairman of the main transition committee former Head of Service Mujitafa Isah.

Similar development was equally detected in the subcommittee on education where people from a particular local government raises protest against illegal nomination of another person who is believed to be smuggled into the committee despite him not a legitimate member of the PDP.

Secretary of the Education subcommittee Associate Prof. Nasiru Anka confirmed that the man in question was rejected by the people of his local government who insisted that he can’t be a member of the transition committee representing PDP when he actively challenged the victory of the PDP.

He said since the objection came from the constituents, the subcommittee has no option than to refuse him access to venue of the meeting of the subcommittee.

Another crises also emerged in the subcommittee on judiciary where an active member of the APC was made to be part of the subcommittee on judiciary.

The source insisted that everybody in the committee objected to the appointment of the legal practitioner and as a result he was removed from the subcommittee.

A member of the PDP transition committee who craved anonymity insisted that unless the Governor elect has put an eye to the working of the subcommittees some unpatriotic members of the opposition may likely be going to dominate the PDP transition committee.

He noted that the Chairman of the main committee may not likely know everyone nominated by his name and identity and some of his members may take advantage of that weakness to smuggle other desperate APC members into the committee and that will be the beginning of a sabotage against the philosophy of setting up of the committee.
