FMR. FEDERAL LAWMAKER FLAGS OFF DISTRIBUTION OF (76) TRUCKS OF ASSORTED FOOD ITEMS TO APC SUPPORTERS IN ZAMFARA

Former federal lawmakers who represented Kaura Namoda Birnin Magaji at the Federal House of Reps Aminu Sani Jaji has flagged off the distribution of (76) seventy-six trucks of assorted food items for the APC supporters across 14 local government areas of Zamfara state.

Aminu Jaji conducted the flag-off amidst hundreds of party supporters who assembled at the headquarters of Jaji Foundation along Sokoto bye pass road in Gusau to witness the event.

His activity came nearly a week after the former Governor of Zamfara and the APC leader Abdulazeez Yari Abubakar flagged off the distribution of over 100 trucks of assorted food items to APC supporters in Zamfara.

Jaji during the event declared that, each local government would benefit from (1) truck of rice, (2) trucks of millet and (3) trucks of maize while he said beside the usual allocation Gusau, Kaura Namoda, Talatar Mafara and Birnin Magaji local governments would be given another special allocation.

He also declared that he has procured for distribution 2,465 bundles of assorted clothing materials for distribution to the needy a head of the Sallah festive period.

The former lawmaker said the gesture is dedicated for orphans, less privileged persons and people with special needs.

He commended the party supporters in Zamfara for their commitment to the plight of the APC and urged them to continue to work harder in the overall interest of moving the party forward.

He also thanked the party leaders in the state for their tireless efforts aimed at rebuilding the party and assured them of his commitments towards supporting them at all time.

The event was graced by APC stakeholders from both national level and some others from the neighboring states of Katsina and Kano just to witnessed the effort of the former lawmaker.

SEN. YARI DONATES (13) TRUCKS OF MAIZE TO PEOPLE OF TALATAR MAFARA

Former Governor of Zamfara state and Senator representing Zamfara West, Hon. Dr. Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar (Shattiman Zamfara) has secured (13) trucks of Maize containing (3900) bags for distribution to his immediate community of Talatar Mafara.

The distribution is to be handled by the (11) man committee headed by Malam Hamza Abubakar.

A total of 68 communities consisting of 21,075 households will benefit with a total of 3900 bags of Maize.

According the chairman, the beneficiaries cut across religious devices as instructed by the donor Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar.

According to the committee Chairman, former Governor Yari has considered the social condition of the people emanating from the removal of fuel subsidy by the current administration.

He assured that, the committee will be just and fair in the discharge of their duties.

He called on people to give them maximum support and cooperation in the discharged of their duty in order to achieve the desire success.

(31) PEOPLE DIES, (274) SUSTAIN INJURIES IN ADAMAWA ROAD CRASHES.

The Federal Road Safety Corp Adamawa state command has revealed that a total of (31) people died as a result of various road crashes within the state.

The statistics also showed that, a total of (274) people also sustained various degree of injuries as a result of the road crashes.

The Adamawa sector command also recorded (126) various road crashes involving (548) passengers within the period under review.

The statistics covered a period of January to July 2023.

The sector commandant of the state, Mr. Yelwa Dio when he interacted with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

He attributed the road crashes to over-loading, over speeding and making telephone calls while driving.
